Bruce Katz

Bruce is a Bay Area artist utilizing the subject matter of landscape, cityscape, the figure and still life to develop paintings that convey the drama of the world around us. He’s particularly inspired by how light and shadow, touching upon the ordinary scenes and objects of our everyday lives, transform them and infuse them with energy, mood and poetry. Bruce works out of his studio at Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco and exhibits his work at various galleries throughout the area. He also teaches both studio and plein air painting.
