Franc D'Ambrosio

D’Ambrosio is a self-taught artist with a particular focus on both abstracted figurative and meditative abstract painting. His evolving technique of deconstructing acrylic on canvas creates a contemporary interpretation of relic sensibility. He says that he knows when a painting is finished not by the amount of paint he applies, but rather by the amount of paint he removes.
