Matt Pipes

A great pleasure Matt Pipes has as an artist is to marry his profession, printmaking, with his passion which is painting. This project allowed him to do that, by making a mixed media print from a painting that he was emotionally attached to. It's hard for him to talk about the effect of the pandemic on his process, because it is still on going, but it has forced Matt to be more patient and disciplined in his practice. He’s had to be more mindful of the risks of going to his studio which has made him more deliberate in the decisions he makes there.
