Glenn Watson

Glenn Watson’s process has been similar to what psychologists refer to as free association. In Watson’s case, the canvas plays the part of the psychologist, and he responds to it with the first thing that comes to mind. If he gets interested in something, he follows it where it leads. He has fairly denied any restrictions that style might impose. The enduring criteria for Watson is about making something that interests him, and hopefully will interest others enough to engage with it.
