Misfit Art Sale

The Misfit Art Sale offers an opportunity for donors to purchase slightly imperfect, end-of-series, or leftover artworks. Misfit was originally produced to raise funds for the Alliance Health Project’s AIDS Walk Team in 2017. The event was first held at 3DoorGallery at 1890 Bryant Street Studios where the walls were jam-packed with hundreds of art pieces and handwritten auction sheets. In 2024, the Misfit Art Sale was held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Mission Center Building. This grassroots effort has been propelled by volunteers, staff, and artists, and has become a much-anticipated community event where great art is wildly accessible for everyone to enjoy.
