Art for AIDS is Saturday, Oct. 4!
The UCSF Alliance Health Project (AHP) will host the 29th annual Art for AIDS auction on Saturday, Oct. 4. 2025! Art for AIDS is an annual charity art auction presenting the carefully curated works of local and national artists. All sales from the auction benefit AHP in providing free or low-cost mental health, substance use disorder and sexual health services to San Francisco’s LGBTQ+ and HIV-affected communities.

In 2025, attacks on immigrant rights, transgender people, and healthcare funding seem to increase daily. Those attacks are even more threatening to AHP’s low-income LGBTQ+ and HIV-affected clients who are trying to heal from homophobia, transphobia, racism, aging, isolation, income frailty, substance use, and psychiatric disorders. Many also struggle with housing instability and/or homelessness.
Art for AIDS is a creative gathering of artists, designers, patrons, business leaders and caring community members. This much-anticipated annual fundraiser brings together the art world with AHP, one of the nation’s pioneering LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS mental health organizations. We are a community with a shared vision of a brighter future for all because we believe that everyone matters. Join us by buying tickets or becoming a sponsor for Art for AIDS 2025.
Join us—in honor of our clients and our communities—to celebrate AHP’s values of kindness and inclusivity at The Bridge Yard, located within the Judge John Sutter Regional Shoreline, an East Bay Regional Park District Facility. You’re invited to browse and bid on art in both silent and live auctions while enjoying cocktails, mocktails, wine, food, and live music.
Art for AIDS began in 1996 as a small community event held by artists who felt powerless while watching their friends die of AIDS. Now, 29 years later, the auction has raised over $3 million for AHP client services and has become an invaluable resource for our LGBTQ and HIV-affected clients. Every year we are thankful for the extraordinary generosity of the artists, galleries and collectors who donate artwork.
Art for AIDS raises critical funds for the mental health and wellness of HIV-affected and LGBTQ+ community members in San Francisco. Art for AIDS provides AHP with critical operating resources to serve more than 3,500 clients annually at our Market Street clinic.
